Before switching a bolt from steel to titanium, compare the numbers. These typical values help you pick the right grade for your load, environment and weight targets.
| Material | Density (g/cm³) | Min. Tensile (MPa) | Corrosion Resistance | Magnetic | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V) | 4.43 | 895 | Excellent | No | Brake, stem, wheel & high-load bolts |
| Titanium Gr2 (CP) | 4.51 | 345 | Excellent | No | Chemical, marine & medical fittings |
| Stainless Steel 304 | 7.93 | 515 | Good | Slight (cold-worked) | General-purpose hardware |
| Alloy Steel Class 10.9 | 7.85 | 1040 | Needs coating | Yes | Structural & automotive bolts |
Typical minimum values referenced from ASTM B348 (titanium bar) and ISO 898-1 (steel property classes). Always confirm against the mill test certificate supplied with your order.
Titanium is roughly 56% the density of steel, so a direct Gr5 replacement bolt typically weighs about 44% less.
Choose Gr5 for clamping force and fatigue; choose Gr2 when formability and chemical or seawater resistance come first.
Use anti-seize compound and follow reduced torque specs on titanium-to-titanium threads — we can advise per application.
Send a drawing, a 3D model or a physical sample. Our engineers review manufacturability before production, so your parts fit the first time.
Drawing review, 3D modelling and tolerance advice to balance strength, weight and unit cost before tooling starts.
CNC turning and milling of titanium with tolerances down to ±0.01 mm, plus thread rolling for stronger fatigue-resistant threads.
Polishing, sandblasting, color anodizing (gold, blue, purple, rainbow) and burnt-blue finishes to match your brand.
Incoming material testing, dimensional inspection and performance checks, with MTC and composition reports on request.
Small-batch samples for validation, then scalable runs with consistent quality for distributors and OEM assembly lines.
Custom retail or bulk packaging, EPR-ready packaging for Germany and reliable shipping to North America and Europe.
Machining, cutting, finishing and inspection are managed under one roof, which keeps lead times predictable and lets us trace every batch back to its material certificate.
Every order follows the same documented workflow, giving buyers clear checkpoints and traceable quality records.
Certified Gr2 / Gr5 titanium bar and sheet, verified against mill certificates.
CNC turning, milling and thread rolling to tolerances as tight as ±0.01 mm.
Polishing, sandblasting or color anodizing matched to approved samples.
Dimensional, thread-fit and appearance checks with recorded results.
Protective, labelled packaging and export documents for safe arrival.

Our products are documented for the EU, UK and North American markets. Certificate copies and test reports are available for your supplier audit.

We mainly export to markets known for stringent quality, reliability and performance requirements.

Jiaxing Wexra Titanium Products Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and production of titanium and titanium alloy products. Our materials and custom-made components serve industrial and consumer applications across the chemical, aerospace, marine, medical, automotive and bicycle/motorcycle sectors.
Titanium’s high strength, corrosion resistance, low weight and biocompatibility make it the material of choice when steel is too heavy and aluminum is not strong enough. We help buyers make that switch with the right grade, finish and documentation — and aim to be your reliable, long-term titanium partner.
Straight answers to the questions purchasing managers and engineers ask us most often.
Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) offers a minimum tensile strength of about 895 MPa and suits load-bearing bolts such as brake caliper, stem and wheel bolts. Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium with lower strength (about 345 MPa) but excellent formability and corrosion resistance, ideal for chemical, marine and decorative hardware.
Yes. We provide OEM and ODM services from 2D drawings, 3D files or physical samples, covering CNC turning, milling, laser cutting, thread rolling and surface finishing, from prototypes and small batches to mass production.
We operate under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Material certificates (MTC), composition analysis reports, dimensional inspection records and RoHS/REACH compliance documents are available on request.
Natural machined, polished, sandblasted, anodized colors (gold, blue, purple, rainbow and more) and burnt/heat-tinted finishes. Titanium anodizing is an oxide-layer color process and adds no meaningful thickness to threads, so fit is not affected.
Our main export markets are the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and Canada, with English-language technical support and compliance documents prepared for these markets.
